BOOYSENS SAPS arrested a total of 49 suspects for various crimes between Monday, December 5, and Sunday, December 11.
These are the crimes and number of suspects: common assault – five, assault with grievous bodily harm – eight, dealing in liquor without a licence – three, drunken driving – seven, fraud – two, housebreaking and theft – one, illegal possession of firearm – one, intimidation – one, malicious damage to property – one, possession of dagga – two, possession of drugs – five, possession of housebreaking implements – one, possession of signal jamming devices – one, possession of stolen motor vehicle – three, reckless and negligent driving – two, shoplifting – four, and theft – two.
