Leak at Millwood court finally fixed after two years
Clr Faeeza Chame is proud to be part of the solution after residents complained about a leak for two years.
DA ward 57 Clr Faeeza Chame is proud to report that the leak which concerned residents of Millwood Court for two years has finally been fixed.
Chame applauded the City of Johannesburg plumbers for their hard work and dedication, as she witnessed first-hand the difficulties they experienced in cleaning the pipes, in which they found various kinds of objects.
“Our residents should be more responsible, especially when using the kitchen sink or toilet or the bath tub – that only water runs through the pipes and not newspapers or food, because such waste was the cause of the blockage.
“I want to assure our residents that the City is trying their best to repair all the leaking pipes and perform overdue maintenance. But we as residents must also assist the City in making sure that we report these leaking drains and pipes and get reference numbers,” said Chame.
