Restaurant treat for children

Director of St Mary’s Sonja Harmse added: “Dimitri and the team make the lunches so special, providing balloons and table decorations to make it jovial. A huge thanks to all of them.”

TURN ‘n Tender, in Comaro View Shopping Centre, Bassonia, held a lunch for the youngsters of St Mary’s Children’s Home, on Saturday, January 28.

Dimitri Papadakis, co-owner, says: “St Mary’s is very close to my heart and we try to host a couple of lunches for the youngsters and staff each year. My staff always go out of their way to make sure they have a great time while they are here.”

Director of St Mary’s Sonja Harmse added: “Dimitri and the team make the lunches so special, providing balloons and table decorations to make it jovial. A huge thanks to all of them.”

Ward 23 councillor Sarah Wissler was also invited to the lunch by Dimitri.

“Meeting Sonja and the children has been wonderful; it’s been a great Saturday afternoon,” she said.
