All Stars help local charities

The All Stars’ contribution to the foundation was used in the community with many beneficiaries in the South areas.

RE/MAX South Africa recently held their annual awards evening and Alberton’s own RE/MAX All Stars shone bright and their sales associates walked away with various awards.

The All Stars won the national and regional award for the highest contributor to the RE/MAX Foundation, donating more than an outstanding amount of R100 000 to the organisation.

John de Melo also won the award for being the highest sole contributor in Gauteng, for donating more than R10 000. The RE/MAX Foundation also raised more than R800 000 for charity in 2016.

The RE/MAX Foundation is a registered public benefit organisation (PBO) that aims to promote and inspire Southern African people to improve themselves and strive to be the best they can be. One of their focuses will be on supporting worthy causes for the upliftment and development of our youth.

One of the brand’s mottos is that they don’t just work in a community, they live there too. RE/MAX of Southern Africa is committed to uplifting communities and the people that live there. Some of the national beneficiaries are The Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital, The Sporting Chance Development Foundation and Reach for a Dream.
