LEARNERS from Horizon High School competed against learners from 45 other countries at the Infomatrix World Finals in Bucharest, Romania, in April, and returned with four bronze medals and two silver medals.
Owethu Hlatshwayo (Grade Eight), Kamogelo Mamaregane (Grade Eight), Thendo Liphosa (Grade 10) and Mogau Mogale (Grade Nine) attained bronze medals, and Bokang Modingwane (Grade 10) and Ofentse Thebe (Grade 10) attained silver medals.
These boys did Horizon High School very proud and the school wishes to congratulate them for their hard work and commitment. The school also expresses its sincere gratitude to their parents and families as well, as without their support and commitment to their sons’ education, this achievement would have not been possible.
