Poise Academy is empowering young girls
Poise Academy adorns all young girls in pageant
THE Poise Academy held yet another successful pageant on June 3 at The Glen Shopping Centre where people united to celebrate young people this Youth Day month.

To many people it may have been just another beauty pageant but the young participants will surely remember the experience for the rest of their lives. Each girl was adorned with a tiara and given the reassurance from Isaiah 62:3 that she part of a royal priesthood, a chosen generation that has been set apart for God’s glory. Each girl was also reminded that she should never ever settle for less in her life.

The winners from the pageant are as follows:
Poise Junior
Winner: Nikki-Lee Bezuidenhout
First runner-up: Zama Maseko
Second runner-up: Buyisiwe Sithole
Poise Tweens
Winner: Praise Mwesigye
First runner-up: Nothando Ncube
Poise Teens
Winner: Bontle Mahapeloa
First runner-up: Naledi Mothoagae
Second runner-up: A girl from St Mary’s Children who cannot be named.
The event was a success with many parents and customers gathering to watch the young princesses show off their natural beauty.
