Alberton Child Welfare holds golf day
The competition format is a four-ball alliance, with two scores to count. The cost of entry is R3 000 per four-ball.

ALBERTON Child Welfare will be holding their annual golf day on August 24 at Glenvista Country Club.
The charity event is open to golfers of all abilities and promises to a fun day on the greens.
In addition to the day’s golfing, the competitors will also have the opportunity to enter a raffle with some spectacular prizes and enjoy a halfway house lunch and prize-giving dinner.
The organisers will also be holding an auction, offering the chance to bid for some great items.
The competition format is a four-ball alliance, with two scores to count and the cost of entry is R3 000 per four-ball. The shotgun start to the day’s golf is promptly at 11.30am. Limited golf carts are available at an additional fee of R260 per cart. The cost of sponsoring a tee is R2 000.
Anyone wishing to join just for the prize-giving and auction is very welcome to do so, at a price of R200.
