Free trauma workshop at Ligstad

CALLING all child-minders and adults that work with teenagers.

A free trauma workshop focusing on adolescents, specifically designed to build trauma-competent caregivers, will be held at Ligstad in Alberton North, corner Van Riebeeck Avenue and Gerrit Maritz Street, Alberton North.

The course is scheduled to take place over two Saturdays (July 29 and August 5) and the attendance times are from 9am to 3pm. The course is intensive (normally 18 hours and shortened here to 12).

Coffee, tea and snack lunches will be supplied (donations in this regard will be accepted on the day of the course).

This course was developed and written by LAMb international founders, mainly by the Johnstons, and will be presented by Bev van Rensburg – MTh in Practical Theology (Children in Crisis: Imperatives and Strategies for the Church in South Africa) and Ansie Joubert – BA Hons in Training Management
