Touching lives of the elderly

This was part of their Touch a life project which started many years ago in the heart of their principal, Brenda de Lange.

KIDZ @ Play Nursery School staff visited Carrick Place Retirement Home in Crown Gardens to spoil the senior citizens with warm home-made soup and groceries, on July 19.

This was part of their Touch-a-Life Project which started many years ago in the heart of their principal, Brenda de Lange.

“As a pre-school we often support people in need. Thank you to all our parents who contributed and helped us in every way to make this outreach possible for the senior citizens at Carrick Place Retirement Home, in Crown Gardens. This is our Mandela Day contribution,” she said.

FOOD PARCELS: Each person received a grocery bag from Kidz @ Play Nursery School.
