TLC children’s home needs you

The home said their cupboards were bare and they needed all the help they could get maintaining healthy children.

A CHILDREN’S heaven responsible for taking care of needy children is appealing to the public for assistance.

The TLC Children’s Home in Eikenhof has appealed to the public to help feed their children.

The home said their cupboards are bare and they need all the help they can get to maintain the health of their children.

Marketing and communications manager Faith Abrahams said they need nappies and formula but mostly groceries. She explained that in a week they need: 80 loaves of bread, 150 litres of milk, 12 kg of meat per meal, assorted vegetables, assorted fruit and any dog and cat food.

“As a matter of fact, any food donations will be greatly appreciated,” she said.

The centre said drop-offs or deliveries to their premises at Plot 136 Bronkhorstfontein in Eikenhof would be ideal.

They are also willing to arrange for collections to be made.
