Show day at Eikenhof WI

Winners were Pat Leech (first), Yvonne Fagan (second) and Haroldine Walter (third), although Joy Boswell (president of the group) said there wasn’t much in the marks between the winners.

EIKENHOF Women’s Institute members held their Show Day at their October meeting which proved once again just how talented this group is.

Members who entered items, including baking, knitting and crocheting, embroidery and bottled jams and fruit, really excelled and the judge, Anne Nicholls, said this year the standard of work was absolutely great and was a definite improvement on last year’s entries.
