Giving to the needy

Everyone is welcomed to receive the food.

EVERY Tuesday a team from the Oaks of His Righteousness Ministries in La Rochelle, corner Forest and Victory roads, dishes out hot meals to the needy.

Everyone is welcomed to receive the food. Pastor Kaston Muzamba said they started this project in January and without fail they have been giving out decent food to the needy.

“We always cook on Tuesday mornings and people start coming just after 9am to get their food. Food parcels and kind donations are always welcomed,” he said.

Anna Muzamba from the church said mostly recyclers come for food.

“You can see them linear parking their ‘cars’ (trolleys) along Forest Road. We are glad we can help them at least get a cooked meal for the day,” she said.
