Local grandmother wins Renault Clio

Rosaline Naidoo won the brand new Renault Clio in the Vodacom Shake Every Day summer promotion.

VODACOM gave away its 10th car for its summer promotion Shake Every Day to Rosaline Naidoo on Wednesday, January 10, making it a fresh start to 2018 for the local.

The Robertsham resident was handed the keys to her new Renault Clio 900T Expression vehicle at Renault at The Glen surrounded by her family and Vodacom representatives. The draw was done on December 19 and Rosaline was called on December 20 by Vodacom. She was alone at the time and spoke of how she couldn’t stop crying and thanking God.

“I am so thankful to Vodacom and I am so excited to have received this gift. I received much airtime and many SMSs from Vodacom but I always kept entering and now I am very blessed. I played every day and I went into the draw but I never expected to win,” said Rosaline.

In total there are 12 cars to be given away. The two remaining ones will be given away before the competition closes at the end of January.

Miguel Simoes, executive head of Vodacom in Gauteng, spoke to the COURIER at the handover and explained that R1-million has already been won.

EXCITED: Rosaline Naidoo was excited to be the winner of the Vodacom competition.

“Shake Every Day is our summer promotion that is run every summer and it is basically to empower the people to connect not only with Vodacom but with their family and friends. So far three cars have been won in KwaZulu Natal, one in Randburg, one in Northcliff and the other around South Africa. There has also been loads of data and airtime etc. given away,” said Simoes.

The local resident had tears in her eyes while speaking to the Vodacom representatives and emphasised how thankful she is for such a prize.
