CSZ Group launches free business training programme for vulnerable job seekers
CSZ Group founder Tonica Vasconcellos is championing a programme to equip unemployed youth and individuals rebuilding their lives with practical business skills and pathways to financial independence.
A new three-day training drive will equip recovering addicts, unemployed youth and ex-offenders with the practical skills needed to achieve financial independence.
CSZ Group will host its first Business Development Programme from November 9 to 11 under its social impact initiative, Second Chance. Real Change, at 34 Bellvista Road in Haddon.
The free three-day programme aims to empower individuals facing barriers to employment by equipping them with practical skills in business development, workplace professionalism and job readiness.
Empowering the community
Founded by Tonica Vasconcellos, CSZ Group comprises CSZ Industrial Procurement (Pty) Ltd and CSZ Staffing Solutions (Pty) Ltd. The Level 1 B-BBEE, 100% black woman-owned company is based in Forest Hill.
The initiative will support unemployed youth, rehabilitated individuals, ex-offenders seeking reintegration and recovering addicts committed to rebuilding their lives.
Participants will receive practical training in sales and negotiation, lead generation, client sourcing, recruitment fundamentals, business ethics and professional conduct.
The programme also aims to help participants identify pathways towards financial independence.
Following the training, four top performers will be selected for hands-on, incentive-based work opportunities under CSZ Group, allowing them to apply their newly acquired skills in a professional environment.
Sponsorship opportunities
CSZ Group invites businesses to become founding sponsors by contributing financially or providing resources, including laptops, tablets, training venues, refreshments, stationery, branded T-shirts, certificates and transport.
Sponsors will receive brand visibility, recognition as founding partners and opportunities to demonstrate their commitment to community development, skills development and socio-economic empowerment.
The initiative’s long-term vision is to offer the programme quarterly, with a target of placing or empowering at least 80% of participants in income-generating opportunities within 60 days.
Vasconcellos believes that a person’s past should not determine their future and that everyone deserves an opportunity to develop their potential.
Businesses interested in supporting the initiative, and individuals who can benefit from the initiative, can email CSZ Group at cszstaffingsolutions@outlook.com or cszindustrial@gmail.com.
Through Second Chance. Real Change, CSZ Group hopes to build pathways to meaningful work, restore dignity and create lasting community impact.
