Teamwork beats crime

Drinking on our roads and in our parks was prevented.

The CPF Moffat View Sectors 1, 2 and 3 in conjunction with the Moffat View SAPS, Cluster SAPS, JMPD and some security companies conducted a joint operation through the entire Moffat View precinct area on January 26 from 3pm to 11pm.

A substantial amount of illegal substances were confiscated, thus preventing them from reaching the children of our communities, at whom they were aimed. A firearm was found and two suspects detained, pre-empting crime against community members and assuring their safety. Individuals’ documents and identities were verified. Drinking on our roads and in our parks was prevented.

As the Moffat View patroller coordinator, I would like to thank every CPF patroller and SAPS member that took part in these operations. A special thank you to Captains Makhubela, Mekoa and Baloyi of the SAPS, and to CPF Moffat View deputy chairman Issac for your dedication and leadership.
