The society desperately needs to upgrade the chairs.
WALKERVILLE Agricultural Society is having problems with the chairs in their hall. Every time they have a meeting some of the plastic chairs collapse.
Ivan Parkes, chairman of the society, said luckily nobody has been injured. The society desperately needs to upgrade these chairs.
“We are asking for donations to replace the chairs with good quality chairs that will last for a long time. The quote we have received is R120 per chair. To replace 200 chairs will cost the society R24 000. This is your community centre,” explained Ivan.
