I started a stationery drive in January when the schools opened.
I started a stationery drive in January when the schools opened.
There are lots of children that still cannot afford to buy stationery in our community due to the high unemployment rate of most parents or caregivers.
I believe that education is the foundation of any child’s future. With the help of Ward 125 Clr Peter Stewart, we donated much-needed stationery to Montanus Primary School in South Hills. I hope this will be a good start for our learners to make use of the stationery. I would like to make this an ongoing project as we have pre-schools and other schools in the community that are always in need of stationery.
