March 14 to 21 is Anti-Racism Week. The COURIER asked members of the community why they think there is still racism in South Africa.

“I believe there is still racism because people still have that mindset that blacks and whites are not equal.”

“Racism is still rife in South Africa. We are still not equal in every respect.”

“There are still institutions that still breed the culture of racism or racial policies.”

“Because of inequalities. The rich still think they are the custodians of the country. They need to reach out to the poor.”
