WATCH – Please watch video showing Bonny Botha demonstrating CPR.
At the March meeting for Domestic Watch Mondeor Sector Two CPF, Bonny Botha from Risk Facts of Life, sponsored by Lenmed, showed the domestic workers how to react and assist in an emergency situation.
The meeting was held at Sasol Swartgoud with a good attendance from local domestic workers. Run by Michelle Pelser (Mondeor Sector two CPF), the morning was enjoyed by all, with some of the domestics taking part in the exercises.
Also in attendance was Colin Roberts (Client Relations for Lenmed) and Anke Poley (Health Care Dynamics contracted to Lenmed).
“Lenmed Ahmed Karthrado Hospital in Lenasia focusses on trauma prevention and awareness in the community as part of a registered level two trauma facility,” said Poley.
“Thanks to our guest speakers, Sasol Swartgoud, for always allowing us to conduct our meetings here, as well as Petrus Mphetla from Mondeor Primary School who assists with driving the domestics to and from the meetings,” added Michelle.
