AACL rescues The Hill cat

Cat finally rescued

ON 21 May, residents of the Hill found a cat which remained stuck in a tree for about three hours and kept on crying.

The Animal Anti-Cruelty League Johannesburg (AACLJ) inspector, Armand Jackson, went to the scene to rescue the cat which was stuck in a large palm tree. He used his ladder and propped it against the neighbour’s house to safely proceed with the rescue.

Kitty is now safely at home with his family and Jackson has arranged for the cat to be collected for sterilisation at the AACL hospital in Regents Park.
