New hit single gives youngsters hope to do more
The Talented music group looking to take over the music industry with flair.
A YOUNG and super passionate group from Lawley, south of Johannesburg, recently released their first ever hit single titled Love in the air.
The Talented music group of four, who traditionally sing about love, have now made a name for themselves in the streets of Lawley by releasing a song which is played by most youngsters in the area.
The Talented group was founded by Mxolisi Nhlapho (15) last year September with the aim of getting recognition from music producers and radio stations.
Other members of the group are Lebogang Mosole (14), Asanda Dube (15) and Pinky Gama (14).
They currently perform at street corners and school events.
The group does not have funds to compile an album or to promote their song to get on air but with a favour from a studio, their single was recorded at a fee of R50.
Mxolisi told the COURIER his dream is to see the group sharing the stage with Lindo the vocalist, Tipcee and Babes Wodumo.
“There is no dream which is small. When one dreams you need to wake up and fulfill the dream. I won’t rest until I see the group getting signed by a recording company.
“All that we need is to make this single known outside Lawley and to achieve that, we need to get it to be played by radio stations,” said Mxolisi.
