Alpha and Omega Christian Academy opens new hall

The purpose of the hall is to serve the community at large and host events, such as birthday parties, weddings, conferences and church and community events.

ALPHA and Omega Christian Academy officially opened their Education for our Nation Hall to parents on April 8.

Education for the Nation is one of the main partners of the school. The purpose of the hall is to serve the community at large and host events, such as birthday parties, weddings, conferences and church and community events.

The chairperson of Education for our Nation, Mannie Kistnasamy, said this hall will help the school and community.

“We encourage all parents to consider hiring this hall for their private functions. As we grow from strength to strength we hope to really make a difference to as many individuals as possible,” said Kistnasamy.

The school’s choir kept the night going by entertaining parents with different melodies.

The school’s principal, Wesley Ebrahim, thanked all board members for their effort in making sure the hall is built.

“In spite of their busy schedules with secular jobs, they got it done. All those meetings and lengthy discussions have resulted in what people see here today.

“We thank God for the funds, although at times it seemed as if the project would come to a standstill, He has come through for us to make this project a success,” said Ebrahim.
