Nova Pioneer learners help others

Learners help others with sanitary products.

TWO Nova Pioneer School learners recently launched a project of donating sanitary pads to schools in Tokoza.

Lesedi Mnguni and Masego Solomons, both aged 17, don’t want to see other girls being short of sanitary pads and toiletries. The duo looked for funding from various individuals, school teachers, learners and entities. The target for the pads was 4 000 and the pair was able to get about 3 000.

The two learners will soon be making their delivery to Tokoza. Lesedi and Masego told the COURIER they want to see this project expanding and getting more attention.

“Most of the girls lack confidence because they don’t have pads and toiletries to keep their confidence high. This won’t stop here, it will go far and we hope other schools adopt this and help others,” said the girls.
