Trinityhouse Prep donates to AACL yet again
It is the 16th consecutive year that the Grade Four learners from Trinityhouse Prep have been supporting the AACL.
AT their annual Markdag, Grade Four learners from Trinityhouse Preparatory in Randpark Ridge raised a whopping R30 000 for the Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL).
It is the 16th consecutive year that the Grade Four learners from Trinityhouse Prep have been supporting the AACL. Furthermore, it is incredible to note that the cumulative total to the AACL for the past 16 years amounts to an unbelievable R277 064.
It was, therefore, a special occasion when the Grade Four learners and their teachers visited the AACL on June 19. The AACL cannot express enough gratitude to Trinityhouse Prep for their outstanding loyalty and exceptional contribution to the work of the AACL. They realise how blessed they are to have them on their side.
Learners and teachers enjoyed a tour of the facilities, interacted with some of the animals, were given a talk by the AACL education officer and kennel staff and in this way, could learn much more about topics related to animal welfare.
Afterwards the learners were treated to a surprise when each delighted learner received a cooldrink and delicious hot dog as a small token of the AACL’s appreciation.
The AACL has also decided to award Trinityhouse Prep their Kind Cup floating trophy for the 16th year running. This award is annually presented to a school that has demonstrated the highest level of commitment to the AACL during the year.
AACL wishes to congratulate and thank Trinityhouse Prep and express its appreciation for their hard work and kindness. Donations like these unquestionably make a difference in the lives of the hundreds of needy animals in the AACL’s care.
