Bellavista clinic reaches out to patients

The purpose of the open day was to allow patients, nurses and matrons to discuss health issues and come up with ways to tackle the issues.

THE ever-busy clinic of Bellavista hosted an open day to brief patients about health issues on October 14.

The purpose of the open day was to allow patients, nurses and matrons to discuss health issues and come up with ways to tackle the issues.

The clinic used the platform to inform the patients about the new programmes the clinic has and how it will impact the community.

Local residents came in numbers to support the open day and to learn more about their health status.

Patients were also taught how to wash their hands and why it is important to keep their hands clean.

The clinic invited environmental health specialist Vincent Mphaga, who advised patients to avoid littering, to keep the environment clean and safe.

Sabina Mashilwane, one of the patients, said clinic open days should always be held, to better the community.
