Four suspects have been arrested earlier this afternoon, September 21 after they hijacked a silver BMW 320d with registration number DS9 6HY GP on corner of Prairie and Valda Street in Rosettenville.
According to Tyrone van der Merwe, sales director at CPS Security, a member of the public witnessed a hijacking taking place. Assistance was requested and resulted in four hijackers being arrested.
Shortly after the hijacking, hijackers caught on camera on Southern Klipriviersberg Road changing the registration plates of the taken BMW.

Some of the suspects were arrested at Alo tree complex on Nephin Road in South Hills.
“Unlicensed Firearms and glove seized. Great teamwork from CPS Security and JMPD undercover unit,” he said.
