Organisation to help children in South Hills started
Lee-Anne aims to help the children in the South Hills area.
In honour of the three siblings who died in a crash after a taxi and vehicle collided on the R553 Golden Highway on March 11 last year, Lee-Anne Juries from South Hills has opened an NPO.
The crash claimed 12 lives, including three siblings’ from Eldorado Park: Learyn (11), Lashay (10) and Aiden (6) Goodall, who were in Grade Six, Five and One at Robertsham Primary School.
Lee-Anne named her organisation Lee Gardo NPO NPC after her son. The NPO helps the underprivileged and children in need in the area.
“Odile Goodall, the mother of the three siblings who died in that crash is my cousin and she already has an organisation in Eldorado Park in their honour. It is called LLA Foundation. I am also doing it here in South Hills in their honour. We have already started with soccer for the boys and are looking forward to starting our feeding scheme. We have earmarked a piece of land here in South Hills where we will be working, provided we get it. Anyone who wants to help us achieve our goal can contact us. We also need basic office equipment to continue raising funds for the organisation,” she said.

Lee-Anne has been an active member of the community. Earlier this year, she volunteered to work with Sanco, where they donated school shoes to local children.
