Man seriously injured in armed robbery in Selby

On March 1, a 25-year-old man was seriously injured in an armed robbery on Krag Street in Selby.

ER24 arrived at 17:00 to find the authorities already in attendance. A man was found on the grass of a nearby business.

Russel Meiring, communications officer for ER24, said, “Medics assessed the man and found he had sustained a gunshot wound to his chest and was in a serious condition.

“The man was treated and provided with advanced life support before being transported to a provincial hospital for urgent care. The details surrounding this incident are unknown, but authorities were on scene for investigations.”
