Vink murder trail to continue in October

The case against Daniel Jacobus Olivier and his son, Keith will continue in October.

The murder trial of Ludi Vink continued in Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on May 10 and 11.

Daniel Jacobus Olivier and his son, Keith Olivier, stand accused of the murder of Ludi.

The case was postponed to October 5 and 7 so that all material could be placed on one hard disk and watched in court.

Ludi died in hospital on February 22 in 2017 after Daniel Olivier allegedly struck him in the eye with a pool cue at Mitzy’s Bikers Pub in Randhart.

He handed himself over to Alberton detectives, in the presence of his attorney, on February 24, 2017. The case has been going on since 2017.
