Brackendowns SAPS recently made three arrests of individuals found with Eskom copper cable.
Chairman of Brackendowns CPF Geoff Steyn said that they learned that occupants in a Quantum Minibus were trying to sell electricity copper cable to scrap yards.
They then tracked the taxi down with the help of SAPS and Sentinel Security.
The stolen Eskom cables weighed 98kg and were worth a scrap yard value of R12 900.

Geoff thanked everyone who helped in the successful conviction of the three thieves and further thanked them for taking good care of the greater Alberton community.
