Koketso Mamushi (20), Yamkelani Sobuza (20) and Nqubeko Asande Thabede (19) were each sentenced to six years imprisonment for assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm by Magistrate Habib at Booysens Magistrate’s Court on January 17.
The incident happened on February 10, 2022, at The Hill.
The accused unlawfully and intentionally assaulted a 15-year-old boy by hitting him with open hands, hitting him with their fists and kicking him.
