Swift tech-assisted arrest after daring Mondeor break-in

Fox Security and LPR cameras helped track and detain a suspect linked to multiple house burglaries, now in Mondeor SAPS custody.

A daring break-in in Mondeor ended with the swift apprehension of the suspect, thanks to the rapid response of the Fox Security team and the use of LPR cameras, which tracked the suspect’s vehicle.

The team located the vehicle and detained the suspect a few streets away. The suspect is currently in custody at Mondeor SAPS, and the vehicle has been impounded.

The incident highlights the effectiveness of advanced technology and coordinated efforts between security companies and law enforcement in combating crime.

The suspect is believed to be involved in multiple house robberies, and further investigations are underway to uncover the full extent of their activities.

“The suspect is allegedly linked to more than one house burglary case. They will remain in custody while we continue our investigation,” said Lieutenant Gugu Xulu of Mondeor SAPS.
