Figures Glenvista models triumph at Global Model of the Year finals

Figures Glenvista models beamed with pride after recently being recognised for their hard work and dedication.

Figures Glenvista models showcased their talents and skills at the Global National Student Model of the Year competition finals, held at the Roodepoort Performing Arts Theatre.

The event witnessed a spectacular display of confidence, creativity, and excellence as participants from different age categories took center stage. As the anticipation built among the crowds, the electric excitement in the air was palpable. Backstage, girls and boys eagerly awaited their turn, knowing that it was all about confidence. The winners brought their A game, leaving a lasting impression on the judges.

Models are placed as follows in the different categories:

• Girls 2 – 6-year-old category: Emmery Moodly secured the first runner-up position.

• Girls 2 – 6-year-old category: Brooklyn-storm Thompson earned the second runner-up position.

• Girls 7 – 9-year-old commercial category: Chole Hamrse achieved first runner-up.

• Girls 7 – 9-year-old skills category: Nosipho Khahlane claimed first runner-up.

• Girls 10 – 12-year-old skills category: Aphelele Manyewa emerged as the winner.

• Girls 13 – 15-year-old commercial category: Nalika Moodley secured the winner position.

• Girls 13 – 15-year-old skills category: Nikki-Lee Bezuidenhout achieved the winner position.

• Girls 16 and older fashion category: Jessica Ugwu claimed first runner-up.

• Girls 16 and older skills category: Kiara Arends secured first runner-up.

The Debutant of the Year, Shaneka Muthoosamy, stood out by raising the most funds. All these talented winners have now qualified for Project Aim, set to take place on the Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) Cruise Ship from March 26 to 30.

During this event, they will participate in various categories and have the opportunity to be introduced to more than 25 international agents.
