Linmeyer Community Animal Rescue is inviting everyone to be part of their bake sale fundraising event on May 25.
The event will be held in Linmeyer Triangle Park at the corner of Elizabeth and Augusta streets and is set to start from 10:00 to 16:30.
Animal Protection Network will be joining in the activities, providing microchips to animals for R150.
Residents are allowed to sponsor a few goodies to sell on the day and drop-offs can be done on Saturday before 10:00. Monetary donations are welcomed.
Residents are urged to please make sure that their dogs are on a leash and cats in a secure carrier.
Cakes, cupcakes, muffins, boerewors, chicken prego’s and chicken curry, butter chicken, and bunnies will be on sale.
All proceeds will assist with the sterilisation of the less fortunate animals in and around suburbs in Linmeyer as well as the organisation’s feeding programme.
