A march of faith and resilience in Rosettenville
Despite early storm clouds, Youth Explosion24 Rosettenville brought together hundreds of young people, leaders, and residents for a vibrant march and inspiring event that challenged South Africa’s youth to stand firm in their faith.
Rosettenville was the backdrop for an extraordinary display of faith and resilience on November 9, when hundreds of youth, leaders, and residents gathered for the Call The South To Prayer Youth Explosion24 event.
Despite an early downpour, the storm miraculously ceased just in time, allowing participants to gather in a powerful show of unity.
The event, organised by the Upper Room Christian Centre Haddon, sought to inspire South Africa’s youth to stand firm in their Christian beliefs in the face of life’s challenges.
The day began with a vibrant march through the streets of Rosettenville and La Rochelle, culminating at Corinthians Stadium.

The marchers, undeterred by the earlier weather, filled the streets with the sounds of worship and prayer, holding high banners that read, ‘We will not bow down’.
The procession was a declaration of faith and hope, as young people and community members joined to affirm their commitment to righteousness and spiritual conviction.
At Corinthians Stadium, a dynamic programme awaited attendees. The event featured a line-up of inspiring guest speakers, including pastor Clayton and his team from City of Hope Ministries, pastor Peet and Jenny from Passion In Action, pastor Phil and prophet Daniel from Elohim Ministries, and pastor Mike from Upper Room Christian Centre Honeydew.

Each speaker shared powerful messages to encourage attendees to remain devoted and unwavering in their faith.
Youth groups and leaders from local ministries energised the crowd with lively performances, powerful testimonies, and uplifting worship.
Organisers of the event expressed their gratitude to those who contributed to its success.
As the crowd dispersed at the close of the event, it was clear that Youth Explosion 24 was not just a one-time occasion but the beginning of a movement aimed at inspiring South Africa’s youth to rise and make a lasting impact.
