Rosehill Nursery School brings onboard Resthaven Ministries

A new chapter begins for the nursery school, as it transitions to fresh leadership.

Exciting changes are coming to Rosehill Nursery School as it transitions to new management.

This shift marks a new chapter for the well-established nursery school, which has served the local community for 76 years.

Rosehill Nursery School is one of the oldest nursery schools in Johannesburg south and has upheld an exceptional standard over the years.

The principal Anlie Meiring expressed: “Proof of this standard is in how former learners have excelled academically and socially when they moved onto higher grades.”

With Meiring set to retire this year, she has entrusted the legacy of Rosehill into the capable hands of the new management team.

Reflecting on her time at the nursery school, Meiring shared: “I have spent 37 fruitful years at Rosehill. There were many happy moments, and the learners who have passed through my hands are possibly parents and grandparents now.”

New management will be appointed in January 2025 and will not affect the customary operation of the school.

Parents, staff, and community members can anticipate how this change will improve the educational experience for the children who call Rosehill Nursery School their second home.

Pastor Neil Williams, a member of the incoming management team and CEO of Resthaven Ministries, hopes this new venture will enhance the academic experience of the current learners and bring more children to the school, where they can receive an education while learning in a safe environment.

With a shared commitment to nurturing young minds and providing a supportive, enriching environment, the new leadership is dedicated to maintaining the school’s legacy while introducing innovative programmes and developments.

The transition promises a bright new chapter for Rosehill Nursery School and its future learners.

As Rosehill embarks on this exciting journey, community support is vital to ensure continued success. The school currently has vacancies for ages between three and six.

Community members are encouraged to spread the word, get involved, and help uphold the proud legacy of Rosehill Nursery School for generations to come.
