Ormonde’s Johannes Khoele celebrates remarkable 55-year career

After half a century of service, this long time employee reflects on a career built on hard work and community.

Johannes Khoele of Ormonde marked 55 years of dedicated service at iProp (Pty) Ltd, highlighting a remarkable career and personal journey.

Starting as a young, eager worker in 1970, he witnessed the company’s evolution firsthand, growing into a respected figure among his colleagues.

Reflecting on his journey, Khoele shared his pride in seeing the company grow alongside his own growth.
“When I started, it felt good to be part of this industry,” he said.

“Over the years, I watched the company evolve and expand and I am proud to have been a part of that journey.

“Although I retired in 2010, I have spent the last 15 years working as a casual. So I am not just celebrating 55 years with the company, I am celebrating an added 15 years as a pensioner,” said Khoele, an estate manager.

He is excited about the continued success of the company and the new generations of workers who will continue the legacy.

The team at iProp congratulated Khoele on this remarkable achievement, as the younger employees now look up to him for wisdom and inspiration.
