The Look Forward Creativity Centre hosted its 18th AGM on July 9, where community members reviewed progress, elected office bearers and discussed urgent needs, including transport and funding.
The Look Forward Creativity Centre held its 18th AGM on July 9.
The meeting allowed the community to reflect on the past year’s achievements, discuss key developments and review the financial and operational reports.
The meeting also included elections for office bearers.
Clr Faeeza Chame, a long-time supporter of the centre, said, “The Look Forward Creativity Centre is a vital part of our community, providing a space for creativity and growth. I was pleased to see so many community members attend the AGM and participate in the decision-making process.”

The centre’s financial report highlighted the need for more sponsorships and donations due to insufficient government funding, despite receiving a subsidy from the Department of Social Development in January.
The centre also needs volunteers to be on their board and a van to transport the children to school.
The centre values the input of its community members and believes their contributions are essential to its growth and success.
