Daughter seeks information on Alistair Drysdale who lived in Kibler Park

38 years later: Kibler Park family appeal to reconnect with Alistair Drysdale’s next of kin.

Lorna Sales is appealing to Southern Suburbs residents for help tracing her father, Alistair Lancelot Hardie Drysdale’s, family and friends.

He passed away in Kibler Park on January 26, 1989, at the age of 46. Drysdale was married to a lady named Margeret.

Sales, Drysdale’s daughter, is conducting historical family lineage research and hopes readers who knew her father, worked with him, or attended school with his children may come forward.

“My genealogical records show a marital connection to the family surname Allamby,” Sales wrote. “I am also after finding out what happened to him in Kibler Park.”

She confirmed that she is now in contact with her half-sister Lucy from Allamby’s marriage, but is keen to reconnect with any other surviving family members or descendants.

Given the long history and close community ties in the Southern Suburbs, Sales said she is hopeful the public may remember Drysdale from the late 1980s.

“I am hoping your readers might be able to assist: anyone who may remember Alistair, worked alongside him, or went to school with his children during that era,” Sales wrote.

Anyone with information about Alistair Hardie Drysdale, the Allamby family connection, or details about where Mr Drysdale lived in Kibler Park is encouraged to forward details to Lorna Sales via ljdj1@hotmail.com
