“Life is a miracle. You are a unique expression of this miracle. Think of how great this makes you. Live big! You are not here to dwell in the basement of your potentiality.” – Dr Steve Maraboli
Your first purpose in life is to find your main and real purpose which is why you are on this earth and how are you going to fulfil it.
We all need something to really believe in, something for which we can have whole-hearted enthusiasm. We need to feel that our life has meaning and that we are needed in this world. This feeling is what will propel you each day of your life.
Your life won’t ever be perfect, but it can be purposeful. Live for something bigger than yourself and leave a mark in the world. Life is a constant struggle that cannot be denied. There are moments of sadness and happiness. There are moments of tears and laughter. To live a purposeful life, one must have the passion to overcome the obstacles that life bestows on us. I define potential as the ability to become more in the future. This can only be possible if you look at your life beyond your current position or circumstance.
Dr Martin Luther King Junior said, “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.” If you avoid challenging times, you’ll stay stuck in the basement of your potential. Remember, you are a miracle and you deserve the very best that life has to offer, claim it, it is yours.
Life is short, time is fast, it has no replay and no rewind, enjoy every moment as it comes.
