As long as I’m okay – Really?
Stop surviving and start thriving. Break free from the scarcity mindset, embrace abundance, and step boldly into the life you deserve.
As long as I have something to eat today, I tell myself I’m okay.
As long as I can afford transport to get by, I convince myself I’m okay.
As long as there’s someone in my life, anyone, I believe I’m okay.
As long as my children can still go to school, I feel okay.
As long as the abuse stays hidden and no one knows, I pretend I’m okay.
As long as I’m breathing, I settle for just being okay.
As long as I have a roof over my head, I tell myself I’m okay.
As long as the bills are somehow paid, I’m okay.
As long as I still have a job, no matter how unhappy it makes me, I stay quiet and say I’m okay.
As long as I have one blanket at night, I convince myself it’s enough.
As long as I’m not to blame, I rest easy.
And as long as I’m not the manager, I don’t have to take responsibility, and yes, I’m okay with that.
Sound familiar?
This is the voice of the scarcity mindset. The inner dialogue that keeps you surviving instead of thriving. It whispers that you should be grateful for the bare minimum and avoid stepping into more.
It convinces you that playing small is safer than rising into greatness.
But here’s the truth: You were not born to be just okay.
You were born to live fully, love deeply, grow boldly, and lead fearlessly.
So pause. Reflect. And then rise. You deserve the absolute best that life has to offer. Choose to expect more.
Choose to become more. Our brains have a capacity to change, even though they prioritise safety above all else. You deserve abundance and you are capable of achieving it. Step into mental light.
