The death of our former president, Mr Mandela, did not come as a surprise.
He was a great statesman, and a great president. He was a man that young people could model themselves on. A man of integrity, he would not want the world to mourn his death, he was the man who would want the world to celebrate his life. Let us carry on with all sporting activities and whatever else has been planned, as he will be with us all the time. He has been part of my life for the best part of 40 years, sometimes with love, others times with anger. But he will remain with us as part of all our lives.
Rest in Peace, Mr Mandela.
