WEST TURFFONTEIN – The residents of Reuven Retirement Complex wish to pay tribute to the late former President Nelson Mandela, liberation hero and humanitarian.
The death of Madiba, after a long and agonising illness, brought so much sadness to many of us, we mourn his passing. We bid farewell to one of the world’s greatest statesman, we celebrate his vision, his wisdom, and unassuming nature.
We are grateful to God for having given us such a remarkable statesman and a leader with so much modesty and astuteness; he fought tirelessly for freedom and the democratic rights for all South Africans. We now live side by side in true harmony and peace.
We say thank you, Madiba, who after 27 years of incarceration, showed us by example how to truly forgive and to tolerate one another, and to join hands to build a progressive and a prosperous country for our future generation.
We humbly convey our sincere condolences to the Madiba family.
May his soul rest in peace.
