THE Johannesburg Harriers Athletics Club (JHAC) would like to thank all the people of Kibler Park, Alveda Park, Alan Manor, Mondeor, Suide Oord, Winchester Hills and Mayfield Park for their patience, support and understanding on Sunday April 2, while we hosted our annual Jackie Gibson Marathon.
The JHAC were proud hosts of a spectacular event and thank each and every member of the local community for their support and interest in cheering on all the runners who participated on the day.
A special note of thanks goes to local councillors Sergio Dos Santos, Peter Stewart and Sarah Wissler. A thank you also goes to Harcourts, Pick and Pay Mulbarton, Toyota Alberton and Sportsman’s Warehouse The Glen for their support at the water points. Final thanks go to JMPD, who controlled the traffic. Thank you to all of you for helping make our race a tremendous success.
