Carole’s thank you letter

She is a deeply spiritual person and prayers mean so much to her.

A while back, Resthaven Ministries sent out a desperate plea for O+ blood type to donate blood as one of our elderly residents needed blood due to a bleeding ulcer, and the hospitals did not have this particular blood in stock.

We had also asked for assistance in purchasing a hospital bed for Carole, for which we thank Yammin Hammon Attorneys in assisting us in this capacity. A huge thank you to Colin Stevenson and Tony Vincent at Impact Medical Supplies Holding (Pty) Ltd for also assisting with the purchase of the hospital bed.

Carole had asked us to send a heartfelt ‘Thank you’ to all who had assisted in both cases and especially to those who took the time to say prayers for her. She is a deeply spiritual person and prayers mean so much to her.

There were also those who stood proxy for her at their churches for prayer, for example, the son of one of our residents, Charlotte. He has never met Carole but was so moved by her plight that it spurred him to stand proxy for her in prayer.

Carole is at present very weak, but we are providing the best care possible.
