Self-defense classes for women

Self defence classes for women.

MONDEOR Sector one CPF held a self-defense class for women at the Harvest Christian School in Mulbarton on Saturday, October 31.

“The purpose of the classes which have been held on different Saturdays at different venues, is to teach women how to defend themselves in a dangerous situation,” said Hennie Bouwer, one of the class coordinators.

“Often women find they are unable to help themselves when they are attacked and suffer the consequences. These classes can help prepare you to fight back,” added Michelle Pelser from the Mondeor CPF.

Another self-defense class for women will be held on Saturday, November 14, from 09:00 to 13:30, at the Dalmondeor Primary School.

Booking is essential as there is only enough space for 100 women. Phone Cindy Morujao on 082 444 6260 for more information.

More self-defense classes will be held in the South of Johannesburg next year.
