Pit Bull team curling at classic
Pit Bull powerlifting club in the South competed at the popular Arnold Classic Africa 2017.
THE Pit Bull Powerlifting Club in the South competed at the popular Arnold Classic Africa 2017 and held its own. The event took place at Sandton Convention Centre from May 5 to 7.
The team from the South competed in the Strict Arm Curl Challenge and received good placing. The event was attended by powerlifters worldwide.
Kobus Bester received a second place in the 83kg division. Lamore van der Spuij took up the third place overall and Hendrik Burger the second place.
Calvin Makondo was the best junior lifter with his first placing and also bettered the South African record. Colin du Bruyn coached the Pit Bull team.
