It has been more than seven months since active boxing was seen in the country. Boxing is set to return on October 10, but without any spectators.
Back 4 Battle will be presented by Golden Gloves Promotions, subject to the approval of the minister of sport, a full card will be staged at Emperors Palace.
Spectators are in for a treat in front of the TV to watch all the bouts from 7pm.
The finals of the 4@War junior middleweight tournament will see Boyd Allen take on Brandon Thysse over 10 rounds.
The third-place fight in the tournament will take place between Tristan Truter and Roarke Knapp. The World Boxing Association (WBA) Pan African vacant welterweight title fight will be contested by one of South Africa’s brightest rising stars, Jabulani Makhense, and Eric Kapia over 10 rounds.
In the cruiserweight tournament semi-final for the WBA Pan African and South African titles Akani Phuzi and Chris Thompson will go toe to toe.
