Siyakholwa Kuse will be fighting champion Melvin Jerusalem in the 12 rounds of WBC Strawweight Title fight at Metro Manila, Philippines on October 29.

The bout is billed Thrilla in Manila; it is promoted by Manny Pacquiao and IBA, and celebrates the 50th anniversary of Muhammad Ali vs Joe Frazier III fight in 1975, which was the third and final professional boxing match between undisputed champion Muhammad Ali.

Trainer, Manny Fernandes said they did their last training midday at Brain Mitchell Academy before flying out to Manila on October 21. Kuse will be accompanied by Brain Mitchell, Manny and Richard Fernandes.

Before the departure of Kuse, sparring partner and champion Ricardo Malajika said this at OR Tambo International Airport: “I see a very big win. Siya Kuse is putting his heart in this fight. I’ve seen him in the training camp. One thing for sure, this man is coming back with the WBC title,” he said.
