Visit career expo at Die Fakkel
The exhibition will target student that are dropouts or potential dropouts and afford them the opportunity to interact with stakeholders.

SIKHULULEKILE Dube, a fourth year social worker student at UJ, will be organising a career exhibition together with SANCA from July 26 to 28 from 9am to 2pm at Die Fakkel High School.
An assessment of schools around the communities of Johannesburg South, revealed that there is a rise of drug usage among scholars. This has crippled most of the learners’ academic performance at school.
The career exhibition is an event that will provide an opportunity for companies, educational institutions and local stakeholders to come together in a bid to inspire the next generation’s community leaders. Therefore, various schools are invited together with out of school or unemployed youth, as the information will be beneficial to the career choices they make. The event encourages learners to make informed decisions about their personal lives and enables them to identify the consequences of drug use.
The exhibition will target students who drop out or want to drop out. It will afford them the opportunity to interact with stakeholders who will inform and equip them with skills that will enable them either to advance their education through available bursary schemes, or improve their employment possibilities by providing them with CV writing skills and how to use effective ways to apply for jobs over the internet.
